FAQ

All offices come with a spacious desk with a rolling desk chair, lockable file cabinets, dry erase/cork board, bookshelf,  floor lamp, wastebasket and a lovely framed NC photograph. Internet is included and further instructions on how to access the network will be given to tenants upon rental agreement.

The incubator space is reserved for upcoming entrepreneurs who have an idea for a business and do not have the resources with which to launch it yet.  That being said, if you are a small business owner that needs short-term office space, we can accommodate you if there is availability.

SAF will be open and available to renters daily from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Our on-site and off-site contact will be Sara Nieblas and you can reach her at sara@safideaincubator.com.  For urgent needs, you can call 336-517-3852. If it is an emergency, please call 911.

The conference room is available to all SAF renters on a first-come-first-serve basis during normal business hours.  If you want to make a reservation, please contact sara@safideaincubator.com to arrange a time slot.

You are welcome to hold meetings in your office with visitors but you are not allowed to have someone share your office for long-term work. 

At SAF, all entrepreneurs are encouraged to apply for an office. Personal credit is not considered. 

To submit an application for office rental at SAF, please fill out an application and we will get back with you promptly to discuss current availability. 

We have a limited, but wonderful, amount of office spaces available to rent for entrepreneurs that are on a first-come-first-serve basis. Certain sizes of office spaces are limited and will be honored to those who complete the registration process and are approved to rent the space first.

We have the following:

• 9'x10' Office Space - Six Offices

• 10'x10' Office Space - Eight Offices 

• 12'x10' Office Space - Two Offices 

We ask that all SAF office renters please be respectful and kind to other office renters and keep noise to a minimum. Everyone is there to grow and nurture their own business ideas, so please be respectful of your office neighbors while conducting your daily tasks.

Please be considerate when utilizing the communal areas such as the break room, printer, reception area, conference room and restrooms. We ask that you please clean up after yourselves and leave things nicer than you found them. Nobody likes a messy break room!

Yes, to an extent! Personalizing your own office space is important for creative thinking and comfort. We ask that you please do not nail, hang, or screw anything in the walls, or utilize anything that would damage the walls, furniture, or floor. You ARE allowed to use the 3-M Command hanging strips that prevent any damage when in use. 

We encourage adding personal touches to your office and you are permitted to bring personal items to decorate as long as they do not damage your office in any way.

You will be fined for any damage you inflict during or upon moving out of your office space.

Since this is primarily an entrepreneurial incubator space, we allow you to nurture your business idea and when it's ready to launch we encourage you to leave the nest! In other words, we allow tenants 6 months to rent office spaces for the initial development of their business ideas. If longer leasing time is needed or wanted, we are happy to discuss that on an as-needed basis.
